Core Team
CEO and Founder
Juan Kastell
Juan has been in digital his whole working career. After graduating with a marketing degree (aaa + CPUT) in 2008, I cut my teeth in a design agency, before eventually moving on to Quirk. After spending 5 years at Quirk and making my way through the business – I started in SEO before moving to social and then strategy. After than, I moved on to lead CRM at Getsmarter. I followed that up with a contract or two before deciding to do my own thing in July 2018. After initially offering the full spectrum of digital marketing – I eventually honed my craft to a handful, and branded it as Prominence.
Personally, I am a husband, a dad to three girls, and when I get a gap – I like to watch sport or spend time gaming.

Peet Verreynne
Peet has been in Marketing and Brand Development his whole life. Growth and progression has been the number-one driving force and passion. After graduating from AAA School of Advertising, I jumped straight into the “Deep end” and managed a local surf brand in the role of Sales and Marketing Manager. From there successfully launched and managed a Luxury Yacht Charter company abroad.
As a pretty technical dude, Digital caught my interest and started building on that, from freelancing contracts, to now full-time position at Prominence.
Perfectionist by heart, I pride myself in my attention to detail, multitasking abilities and staying Cool, calm and collective under pressure.
